Emergency situations such as a fire, a serious accident or a flood can occur at any time and anywhere. It is therefore important to be as well prepared as possible for such situations, especially by taking various precautionary measures. This includes being aware of current warnings and knowing how to react, e.g. not leaving the house if a severe storm is announced. The authorities send out warnings, the correct behavior and information on the situation via the “LU-Alert” warning and information system.

However, due to a certain unpredictability that surrounds every emergency situation, it is not always possible to foresee or avoid them, so it is particularly important for everyone to prepare as well as possible for all eventualities. To this end, everyone is advised to download and complete the individual emergency plan and have the necessary emergency equipment ready in the event of an evacuation (information on the emergency pack on the last page).
