Behavioural advice
Specific behavioral tips are automatically displayed in the details of a warning, depending on the category of the warning. For some warning categories, however, it is not possible to automatically define behavioral tips. In this case, the competent authorities will define the correct behavior after analyzing the emergency situation and communicate this directly in the warning message.
The www.lu-alert.lu website adopts the HCPN's behavioral instructions (published on www.infocrise.lu), the texts of which have been adapted to the needs of the LU-Alert system in order to take the various warning categories into account.

General behavioural advice
Advice on the correct actions to take in the event of an emergency:
- Inform yourself and follow the instructions/behavior to be followed given by the authorities and emergency services;
- Only move in case of emergency or great need (risk of traffic congestion);
- Be particularly vigilant when driving (traffic light failures, barriers, etc.) and pay attention to detour and closed roads;
- Only call the emergency services for urgent calls, which are listed in detail on the website www.112.lu (risk of overloading the emergency call center “CSU 112” due to too many non-urgent calls);
- Only use telephone and communication networks in emergencies and when there is a high demand (risk of network overload);
- Inform and support your neighbors and other people in your environment who need help;
- Listen to the radio.
